Shawn Garan, a father who has been featured on websites such as Autism Speaks shared a beautiful video of him having a conversation with his nonverbal son, Max.

Shawn writes about the video in the description of his Youtube page:
“We were dropping mommys phone off at her job when Max engaged me in a chat about his day. We believe that Max understands just about everything we say but is unable to speak regular words. He often yells or makes “mmm” sounds when he tries to respond back. This was one of those rare times that he stay engaged long enough for me to have a quality back and forth.”
