🌍 Join the 2026 World Autism Acceptance Month Breakthrough Summit
This April, in honor of World Autism Acceptance Month, Iām excited to invite you to a powerful and transformative virtual experience: the 2026 World Autism Acceptance Month Breakthrough Summit.
This one-day virtual summit is designed to bring together educators, therapists, self-advocates, families, and community members for meaningful conversations, real strategies, and authentic stories that move us closer to true acceptance and inclusion.
📅 Proposed Date: Friday, April 30, 2026 – 11:00-3PM EST
📍 Location: Zoom (with simulcast on my Facebook page, Kerryās Autism Journey, reaching over 360,000 followers)
Why This Summit Matters
Autism is a developmental disability that impacts communication, behavior, and social interaction. Today, 1 in 36 children in the United States are diagnosed with autism, meaning nearly all of us will know someone on the spectrum.
Despite increased awareness, many autistic individuals still face:
-
Social isolation
-
Bullying
-
Mental health challenges
-
Lack of inclusive environments
This summit is about moving beyond awareness into acceptance and action.
As an autistic adult who was nonspeaking until 2.5 and didnāt speak in full sentences until 7, Iāve lived this journey. Today, as a full-time professional speaker and consultant who has spoken at over 1,400 events worldwide, Iām committed to helping others build more inclusive communities.
