I posted a blog recently about 10 films that will help people learn more about autism. After that post went up I received several questions about TV shows that would help educate our community on autism as well. Although there is less of a variety, there are still several shows that can educate our community. All of these shows are unfortunately now off the air but are available for purchase on websites such as Amazon and streaming on Netflix/Hulu.
As a side note some say Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory and Abed Nadir from Community show characteristics of autism however have not been officially diagnosed on the show as being on the autism spectrum. I’d definitely consider looking into those shows as well as the ones below…
