J.T. Thomas is not only a starting linebacker for the New York Giants but an advocate for our special needs community! Thomas who started his career with the Chicago Bears has always wanted to be a role model for others ever since he was a rookie. In a NJ.com exclusive, Thomas mentions his wanting to give back toward children with disabilities. His younger brother, Jared is on the autism spectrum.
Thomas told NJ.com “It doesn’t mean anything if you can’t pay it forward.”
Last November Thomas hosted a bowling charity event with several other Giants players to help Intensive Therapeutics, a non-profit organization that provides occupational therapy programs to children with autism and other special needs. He hopes to give back more through his philanthropy work in the future.
