Sam, a Toronto teen with autism has become an overnight celebrity in our community. Diagnosed with autism at an early age, Sam is now a Starbucks barista who went viral when a video was posted of him showing his dancing moves while making several Starbucks beverages. Sam’s story went so viral that he even got to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show with his boss.
In the video, Ellen talks with Sam about the video that went viral along with being an inspiration. Ellen at the end of their interview than surprised Sam in a HUGE way when she surprised him by letting him know that he would be getting an all expense paid trip to Japan! Sam grew up saying that Japan was his dream vacation spot and was overwhelmed with excitement.
