Thanks to Tamara Laine from Chasing News, a television program that airs on WWOR-My9, WNYW-Fox5 and WTXF-Fox29, I was able to share a little bit about my story of growing up with autism. Of the highlights from the interview included a discussion of the importance of the transition to adulthood in our autism community. In the past 5 years we’ve been able to give 26 scholarships for students with autism to attend college. I started this initiative after seeing a limited amount of scholarship aid out there for our community.
