Kerry Magro used to be nonverbal and considered on the severe end of the autism spectrum. Today as an adult he has been public speaking for over seven years and counting. He first started speaking as a Keynote Speaker when he spoke at an autism awareness event at The Jersey City Council Chambers in front of 300 people about his life on the autism spectrum. That opportunity lead him to a scholarship to attend Graduate School at Seton Hall University through The National Speakers Association who gave Kerry a student membership with their group to learn more about motivational speaking. Kerry speaks on a wide range of topics including adversity, overcoming obstacles, autism, disability awareness, inclusion, transition to adulthood with a disability, employing those with disabilities, bullying and much more!
Since then Kerry has spoken at over 775 events including parent groups, schools, businesses, conferences, and disability groups. In late 2014 Kerry got accredited as a professional speaker.
