CBS Features 13-year-old with Autism Who’s Already a College Sophomore

One of the most well known stories in the autism community today highlights Jacob Barnett who was diagnosed with autism at 2. In 2012 as part of CBS News ’60 Minutes’ they highlighted how Jacob found a passion for math and science and is now today considered to be a genius.

“My autism was the key to my success…” Jacob told 60 Minutes.

Today Jacob is an international best-selling author for the book The Spark that was published by Random House. Earlier that year Jacob was featured in a TED Talk by TEDxTeen where he discussed his journey on the autism spectrum. Read more about Jacob on his website here.
