He had no idea that Disney was going to surprise him.
I stumbled upon this story about Luke who was diagnosed with autism and epilepsy and has found a love for instruments. He later dreamed of being in the marching band and Disney surprised him with the news that he’d be heading to Disney World to march in their Christmas Celebration Parade.
This isn’t the first uplifting story from Disney involving our autism community. Years ago I highlighted a Nonverbal Boy’s Interaction at Disney with Snow White and also wrote a letter to Disney about the importance of promoting autism awareness.
I first heard about Luke’s story at 6 ABC Action News.
