Actress Holly Robinson Peete is known for her roles in shows such as 21 Jump Street and Hangin with Mr. Cooper but what some don’t know about her is that she is also a huge autism advocate! Peete who has an 18-year-old son on the autism spectrum has a new book coming out called “Same But Different: Teen Life on the Autism Express,” which she recently discussed on an interview on Good Morning America.
In her interview she also shared about her new project that is her family’s life being highlighted in a reality TV show called “For Peete’s Sake” that will be featured on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). On the show she hopes to spread autism awareness about what it’s like to have a child with autism.
