This guest post is by Kimberly Deanne, National Sales Manager at Rango Honey. Kimberly is applying for our Supporting Small Businesses That Hire People With Disabilities Grant Opportunity ran by my nonprofit KFM Making A Difference. You can learn more about the grant opportunity here.
I hope you can support my nonprofit like I’m trying to support our community. I also produce educational videos to celebrate neurodiversity by spotlighting individuals impacted by a diagnosis. Learn more on how you can help our cause with a small donation (just asking for $3 today, equal to your daily cup of coffee) here.
Rango Honey was founded with a simple and pure mission – to offer only the highest quality raw, natural honey from the Sonoran Desert.
We pride ourselves on creating an inclusive environment for people with disabilities. Rango Honey believes there is a place for everyone here, regardless of their ability level. With this passion, we have been able to hire two full-time employees with disabilities and plan to hire more as we grow.
We have partnered with a local school district to create a job training program for students with disabilities at Rango Honey. Through this program, students are able to fulfill their job training credit hours with the help of our staff and job coaches.
