Acres Project, an autism nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania recently gave me the opportunity to speak at their first-ever Spotlight on Autism event at Mount Nittany Middle School near Penn State University. My talk called “Defining Autism: From Nonverbal to National Speaker” was given in front of a crowd of over 50 people including parents, self-advocates and students. During the talk I got to speak with the Centre Daily Times who were covering the event to discuss our talk in more detail.
You can learn more about the Acres Project here. I regularly give talks around the country focused on disability and autism education. Need a speaker for your next event? We’d love to discuss how we may be able to collaborate here
