Jackson, a 2-year-old boy who is nonverbal and has autism just had the time of his life on a Disney vacation! Jackson who ignored many of the other Disney characters in Walt Disney World had a change when he saw Snow White.
Jackson’s mother told CBS News. “He pretty much ignored all of the characters. He wasn’t super fearful or nervous; he just didn’t have any interest. He makes eye contact with us; but he does not with strangers, he looks down, looks to the side or runs away. To show that eye contact [with Snow White] was a very big deal. I must have cried a thousand tears watching his interaction with her. He was in love.”
Since Jackson’s mother posted the video it has been watched over 650,000 times and has gone viral.
We applaud Disney and everyone who made Jackson’s experience as magical as it was.
