Someone once told me, “You’re still single?! But you’re such a catch!”
While some I can understand may have good intentions when they say this being single is not a crime. For example, I have lost feelings, that spark, for several women in my life.
Everyone has their own story.
I go out, I have fun and I don’t rush into something that doesn’t feel right.
If you told my parents that their autistic child who had so many communication & sensory challenges would one day have a girlfriend they’d probably wouldn’t believe it. Now as an adult I’ve had 7 girlfriends in my life and am still searching for that special someone.
I’m sure for some people who end up reading this you’ll have heard a similar comment and can relate.
