Kerry Magro is an award winning national speaker and best-selling author. Kerry has become a rolemodel in the disabled community. Non-verbal at 2.5 and diagnosed with autism at 4, Kerry has overcame countless obstacles to get to where he is today.In May of 2019, Kerry received his doctorate in Educational Technology Leadership from New Jersey City University to become Dr. Kerry Magro. He currently is CEO and Founder of KFM Making a Difference, a non-profit corporation focused on disability advocacy and housing.
Today Kerry travels the country sharing his story and telling our society to define their lives and their dreams in the best way they can. Of his highlights include publishing 2 best-selling books (Defining Autism From The Heart and Autism and Falling in Love) and working on the 2012 Motion Picture Joyful Noise. Kerry currently resides in Hoboken, New Jersey.

Award Winning and Breakthrough Advocate Kerry Magro knew early on that he wanted to make a difference in the lives of others. Kerry was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder-Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS) a form of autism, at age 4. Growing up Kerry’s future was very uncertain.
Today however, after countless hours of therapy and the support of a loving family, Kerry has conquered many of his challenges. Now as an adult Kerry is a professional speaker, best-selling author, movie consultant and non-profit founder.

In 2011, Kerry won a scholarship for graduate school through the National Speakers Association which allowed him to become a national motivational speaker. Since that time he has spoken at over 600 events around the country in the past 9 years on disability related topics.

In 2013, Kerry released his first book Defining Autism From The Heart which became an Amazon Best-Seller. in 2014, Kerry published his 2nd book “Autism and Falling in Love.” Kerry later in 2015 contributed to the book “College for Students with Disabilities: We Do Belong.” Today, Kerry also blogs for several organizations including Autism Speaks, The Mighty and many more publications.
