What a huge win for inclusion! I recently just learned that Microsoft will have several children with disabilities featured in their commercial during the 4th quarter of Super Bowl LIII this year as they spotlight the Xbox Adapative Controller. The controller is designated to help all individuals, regardless of disability, be able to enjoy the gaming system.
Here’s an extended version of the commercial I found online…

As someone who is a professional speaker, autism entertainment consultant and also a person who lives with a disability in autism, I love the fact that groups like Microsoft are putting a spotlight on our disability community. I used to be an avid gamer as well so having this product available is absolutely terrific. For people who don’t know, 1 in 5 Americans today currently have a disability. I’ve been a fan of Microsoft for years now as they also started an Autism Hiring Program as part of their Inclusive Hiring Initiative which you can learn a little bit more about below.
Great job Microsoft!
