Today I noticed in my email inbox that I was nominated for The 2015 Autism Society’s Dr. Temple Grandin Outstanding Literary Work of The Year for my work on my debut book Defining Autism From The Heart. I will find out in July whether or not my book won and I’m just honored to be nominated for this amazing acknowledgment!
Defining Autism From The Heart discusses my journey from being non-verbal at 2.5 to a national speaker today. The book was released in July of 2013 and reached #1 on an Amazon Best-Seller List for Special Need Parenting in three days taking over the top spot from Dr. Temple Grandin’s best seller The Autistic Brain!
